My fiance and I received a drastic car insurance increase via another company, so we decided to have Hunter quote our policy to see if it could be better. This is the best move I've made in years.I switched from a company I had been with for over 50 years to go with Hunter and his staff at Thiel Ins. The service and customer attention at State Farm had gotten so bad after the last few years it was just unacceptable to stay with them.Plus,I saved almost 460 dollars a year for the same coverage.These guys made me and my wife feel so welcome,plus they answered all my questions and made sure we were in a good place and comfortable with the coverage.This guy actually listened to me,asked me questions and filled our insurance requirements. We have been with the same insurance since 18 not way older. Something told me to look/search around for cheaper because of a rental incident insurance went up. When I was a wee 20-something and first moved to Wisconsin it was the first time I needed my own insurance policies. I needed renters insurance and insurance for my first self-bought vehicle. (Spoiler Alert: I was in over my head.) I chose Thiel because they had great reviews, and its high past time I left my own.Over the past 5 1/2 yrs I've moved several times, and last year I purchased a motorcycle, all warranting changes to my insurance. For all of these Hunter has been an absolute godsend. I dont think theres a single time I've called in all my cluelessness where I didn't hang up the phone with a better deal than I started with! He has saved me hundreds (maybe thousands?) over the past few years.Whenever I call, whomever picks up the phone is patient and polite. They answer all my questions, thoroughly, even when I have to ask the same one several times because I'm confused. The calls are helpful and I always hang up less stressed than I started, and boy can insurance be stressful!I cannot recommend Hunter and Thiel Insurance Group as a whole nearly enough. Whether you're a clueless new insurance buyer like I was, or you just need someone to run your options for you, give them a call, they're fantastic.

My basement flooded. I called before hours. Stacy promptly called me back. I didn't want to claim if I didn't have to. Stacy sent their guy over to see if it could be take care of for less than the deductible. (Who does that) it could not, so I claimed and quickly received a check and their guy, company did it for no more than my coverage. Great job to all!

We have experienced nothing but excellent care from Thiel Insurance Group! Growing up, my dad and my husband's dad always had "a guy" to handle things.... their car guy, their money guy, their insurance guy. But as a society, I feel as though we've migrated away from that and we all move our business around constantly, based on sometimes empty promises. Well, Boyd from Thiel is our "insurance guy"! He and Mel have worked so hard for us and have found ways to reduce our rates even when we haven't asked! Mel even found lower rates for our 18 year old son when he had a speeding ticket under his belt!We are extremely happy for all of their help and knowledge over the years and see no reason to ever move our business!

I have been a customer of Thiel Insurance for 20+ years. On Friday, July 7th my sump pump stopped working late in the evening. I phoned the office Saturday morning to find out how to handle an insurance claim. No one was in and because I had Service Master coming, I phoned Stacey Thiel at home. She answered my questions and was sensitive to my concerns.....on a Saturday morning!!! The insurance adjuster came on Wednesday, July 12th and I had my funds on Monday, July 17th.Great customer service!

not once but twice Thiel Insurance has come through for me. First there was an accident, my car wasn't 18 months old yet. Thiel had put replacement coverage on my car. The insurance company had called after my car was "in the shop" for almost 3 weeks to tell my they had totaled the car and were not offering much to settle. I called Thiel to see if my insurance would cover me in a borrowed car until I found a new car, they asked if they could call me back and when they did I was advised I would be in a rental car until my car was replaced. The insurance company tried to get around that by not totaling the car until after the 18 months were up. Thiel fought for me as the date of loss was before the 18 months were up. Thiel no longer represents that insurance company in part due to the issue.

Second time was hail damage to a new car, almost every panel was replaced and Thiel made sure to follow up with me to make sure I was happy with the repairs as well as to see if I had any questions.

I don't even look at other insurance companies due to the wonderful service I have received from Thiel Insurance Group
